What Makes You Pentecostal?

“Whither shall I go from thy spirit? Or whither shall I shall flee from thy presence” Ps. 139:7

What makes you Pentecostal? Church attendance? No. What you wear? No. How much you give? No. What makes a person Pentecostal? It is revealed in this season of social isolation and quarantine. As churches close their doors and turn to technological resources to deliver sermons and the church experience, there is one thing that FACEBOOK, ZOOM, and GOOGLE CLOUD cannot provide, and that is the presence of God. What makes a person Pentecostal? The ability to get down on their knees, tare the veil of humanity and feel the manifested presence of God in prayer. To be Pentecostal is to know that the Spirit of God cannot be quarantined. He can be found in a lion’s den, a prison cell, a hospital bed, a basement, bathroom, or bedroom. “Whither shall I go from thy spirit? Or whither shall I shall flee from thy presence” Ps. 139:7. Praise, worship, and prayer are not limited to a building or the size of a gathering. Truly, you and Jesus are the majority.
